The pollution control technology consists of DPF black smoke filter module and SCR catalytic reaction module, which can effectively decompose black smoke and NOx in the flue gas, generating non-toxic and harmless N2 and H2O.

The DPF module mainly adopts porous honeycomb ceramic, its cylindrical or square honeycomb shape on the whole, and the end faces are interphase plug holes. When unpurified exhaust gas passes the DPF from the entrance, the clean air (including HC, CO etc.) will get out from the adjacent channel through the internal walls of DPF; The particulate matters (black smoke) will be hold in the channel or the honeycomb wall. The ceramic filter can be used continuously for a long time through active or passive regenerative technology.

The technology is widely used in the flue gas emission control of ships, heavy trucks and others that use diesel oil and heavy oil as fuel, so as to meet IMO tier III emissions requirements.
