● Flue Gas Temperature: >420°C—select high-temperature catalysts; for medium-temperature flue gas (e.g., downstream of waste heat boilers), select specialized medium-temperature catalysts

● Flue Gas Composition: High sulfur and dust content requires catalysts resistant to sulfur and alkali metals; for CO-containing flue gas, use CO oxidation catalysts for synergistic treatment

● Space Constraints: Where space is limited or energy consumption is strictly controlled, corrugated catalysts are the preferred choice

● Industry Characteristics: For gas turbines, select catalysts resistant to hydrothermal aging; for the power generation industry, prioritize both efficiency and long service life

Balancing Removal Efficiency and Operating Energy Consumption

While ensuring a DeNOx efficiency of ≥90% and an NH₃ slip rate of ≤3 ppm, minimize system pressure drop as much as possible. For every 100 Pa reduction in pressure drop, fan energy consumption is significantly reduced. If the flue gas contains CO, the waste heat from the CO catalyst can be utilized to replace auxiliary fuel, further reducing costs.

Don’t just look at the purchase price; consider the total life-cycle cost. High-quality catalysts must withstand sulfur, water vapor, and alkali metals, and possess strong resistance to poisoning.
